I don't think fear of rape/death is why sexual harassment is problematic. And I actually don't think you do, either.
We are the sum of our experiences, so whether or not calvinball was offended or not, or feared for his safety, is separate from the question of whether his personal space was violated in a quasi-sexual way.

I do not think its controversial to say that sexual harassment/assault and power are inexorably linked and that men, by virtue of their size and general status in this world generally hold more of it.
