Pretty shitty day with my neighbor.

Came home from visiting my parents to my parking permits from the PPA left on my stoop. We've had a lot of problems with mail around here and of course they end up with this lady. She leaves them there with a note: "These came to the wrong house - the person you called the police about several years ago. We tend to be neighborly around here... perhaps you didn't know that. -Cathy"

Shortly after moving into the neighborhood this lady parked behind my house, blocking my way into my parking spot. I had been having a problem with someone else doing the same, so I had assumed someone thought that because the house was for sale they believed it was vacant and nobody cared or something. So I called the cops instead of knocking on doors at 10 PM to find out whose car it is. Didn't think it was a big deal, she came out and moved it, cops told me it was a neighbor. I've never talked to this lady despite living 4 doors down from her. We share an alley with a few other folks, a typical rowhome. Her spot is so overgrown that she doesn't park there. So here we are, almost 2 years later, and she decides to snipe at me with some wrongly delivered mail about calling the cops on her. This lady's husband came out about 6 weeks ago, right in front of me, screaming at a Philly U kid "What the hell are you doing? Stop shoveling snow into my house!" after a storm and then ran back inside. They seem like wonderful people. Not sure what my next step is.

Now sure it matters what can of Progresso soup you open. It all tastes like garbanzo beans.

miserable weather at the boston marathon. one woman in the elite group just stopped to use the porta potty and another woman waited for her so they could work together. they're only 1:15 in. seems like bad planning. it's really pouring now.

bad planning as in they shouldnt have picked a day where it was going to rain?

stopping to use the bathroom a little over an hour in.

Didn't actually use the bathroom. Just waited outside for Shalane to be done because, you know, gals always have to go in pairs.
