A magical victory at trivia this evening. Three way tie at the end of regulation after we had a great comeback, and the tiebreaker round was Harry Potter characters. Our usual tiebreaker representative - you have to nominate someone before the category is announced - knows nothing about Harry Potter, so he asked if he could sub out for me. One of the other teams wanted to switch also so it was sanctioned. Tiebreaker must have went 30 rounds total. It's tough keeping track of what other people have said after a number of Ranger IPAs. The guy representing one of the teams, who was completely sober, bowed out repeating Seamus Finnigan. I knew he wasn't gonna win when going first he went with Fang. Going second I said Harry Potter. Gotta be strategic, guy.

It went quite a while longer before the sub ringer representing team 3 repeated McGonagall.

Goes to show hard work pays off!
