Well, to the naked eye and with no context from which to evaluate, it looks to me like Greene county was kept close (under an 800 vote margin in a small county) and so now it’s down to Westmoreland. Awfully close.

Still about 7 percent left in Allegheny to come in. Other counties very close to being done.

Up about 1k now with more that came in from Allegheny. About a 300 vote bump for him.

This is as close as it gets. If I had a decent calculator on this ruddy thing I’d some quick back of the envelope math but I *think*, with the 1100 vote lead in hand, Lamb will just squeak by, maybe by less than 500 votes.

About 4k in absentee. No idea where those come from.

It just tightened, but new votes were from Westmoreland, which is at 99% reporting. Lamb still up, albeit by about 700 votes. I think the margin Lamb will pull from the remaining 3% of Allegheny will enable him to keep his lead even when the last 10% of the much smaller Washington County comes in.

I think Lamb won.

pacino is right that the takeaway is regardless of who is the narrow winner continued GOP underperformance. Maybe some psychology involved if the Dem wins by 0.4% instead of loses by 0.4%, but it's not like there are gonna be a hell of a lot of big House votes this year coming down to a single vote.

The ultimate winner is especially less relevant since this district is disappearing in 8 months and Lamb is going to have to run against a good GOP candidate who is an incumbent (in a much more Dem friendly district) whether he wins or loses.

The last set of number reported were... not encouraging. Allegheny is now 99% in, but Lamb’s margin shrunk to 500+ votes. Looks like Saccone will hang on by the slimmest Of margins, pending the absentees I guess?

Saccone is likely going to have an R primary. If he loses here, people could abandon the ship. This win is probably more important for Saccone than Lamb.
