The RNC, tweeted Trump appointed more women “than previous administrations.” When pressed the RNC word played by saying it was not stating that Trump was better than all previous administrations, because it exact statement is not "any other administration" “because we know that’s not true”.

It's also hugely expensive and not as effective. Soft power accomplishes a great deal, at a much lower price. (To be sure you need to back it up with a capable military, but the best scenario is have that capability but to use it as sparingly as possible.

There there is the other spin that the WH and REAL NEWS over at Fox have dished up, which is that the president helped Saccone close a 6 point gap to keep it close.

The opiod crisis will have to expand at a rate you cannot even calculate for this spin to work.

It's crude and hugely optimistic, but I've seen stats that say if the Dems win everywhere Trump won by 20 points or less, you're looking at something on the order of a 100 seat gain in the house, and if we continue along these foolish lines we also see Dems picking up Senate seats in places like TX. So, not likely.

Well, I hope Republicans really do believe this, because if I'm right, and Trump is in fact toxic but the Rs keep running him out there in close races, then that 20 point pick up might really be true.

(I suspect that Trumps visit probably did drive up R turnout some, I strongly doubt it won any converts.)

You know how I'm from time to time commenting about the rank idiocy of people on TV punditing about politics and economics? Well, Pres. Trump didn't seem to get the memo, because he's gone and appointed Larry Fucking Moron Kudlow to Cohn's old position on his council of economic advisors. Was Cramer not available? I guess Maria Bartiromo turned them down because she didn't want to be sexually assaulted.

Anyway, even if you do think people on TV aren't all total fucking morons (think of it in terms of sports--how would you feel if TMac was given the job of Phillies GM or manager? This is like that) Kudlow is utterly and completely unqualified for the position.

I guess it makes sense though, because Trump is similarly unqualified.
