This has been rumored to be in the works for half a year. If you're looking for a straw that broke the camel's back, given it happened the day after the North Korea announcement, one could start there. Not everything has to be about Russia.

British foreign secretary Boris Johnson was just on the news talking about how are friends around the world have all come to agree that Russia has something to do with the nerve gas poisoning. In particular he mentioned strong support from Rex Tillerson. News travels slow I guess.

2) the Russia thing is so thick that you thought I could be serious
