"I’d just like to address, in the words of General [H. Norman] Schwarzkopf, 'a little BS' on travel."

“All this travel was done only after it was determined by multiple career officials at the department that no commercial options existed to meet the promulgated scheduled,” Zinke said.

“The flights were only booked after extensive due diligence by the career professionals in the department’s general law and ethics division.”

“Every time I travel, I submit the travel plan to the ethics department, who then evaluates it line by line to make sure that I am above the law, and I follow the law,” he said.

So Interiors own review calls the travel records incomplete, missing, or otherwise lacking.

The response seems to be that it is a flawed Obama system, of course, so that gaps are in effect Obama's fault!

Pundits want you to know that Obama's secretaries also took private flights that cost way more then Zinke's trips, in fact almost $1M worth, skipping over a few fair facts like that is over 81 trip over 8 years, and what those trips purposes were. That lack of information screams smoke screen. It might be fair game to suggest that none of those 81 trips were oil exec owned aircraft nor that the air craft owners were known to want something from the passengers, other then money for the service.

When asked why allegations against Franken merit investigation, but those against Trump do not:

Sarah Huckabee Sanders wrote:Senator Franken has admitted wrongdoing and the President hasn't.

Alabama Governor Kay Ivey says she has no reason to disbelieve any accusation against Moore, but is going to vote for him because he's a Republican and he needs to be a Senator to vote for SCOTUS

I mean, I get where she's coming from, but it's one of those things that sounds pretty bad when you say it out loud.

Families earning about $4,900 per month (or less) will receive a $1,182 tax cut and, according to a study by the Council of Economic Advisors, reduction of the corporate tax rate to 20 percent will boost average household income by over $4,000.

The math seems curious. F you make less then $58k, you get just under $100/month. Ok. But the Corp tax cut throws on $2800 more magically?

From FactCheck.org:

In its report, the CEA adds, “When we use the more optimistic estimates from the literature, wage boosts are over $9,000 for the average U.S. household.” That would amount to a $1.1 trillion annual income gain from simply reducing a corporate tax burden that is currently only $297 billion.

That $9,000 estimate is wrong, however, according to the very economist whose work the CEA cites. Mihir A. Desai, a professor of finance at Harvard, says his work doesn’t support such a conclusion at all. He told the New York Times that the actual income gain would be $800.
“I’m a believer in corporate tax reform, and I’m a believer in corporate tax cuts, and I believe they would go to workers,” he told the Times. “But I don’t believe those numbers add up.”

Heard a good description today of trickle down economics. I don't know who this is attributed to but here we go, "If you force feed a horse enough oats some are bound to make it through the animal, fall to the ground and feed the sparrows."

Great to see. We need more of this.

Howard Fineman‏ @howardfineman
I've watched @alfranken unfairly bracketed w/ accused serial sexual predators. He & I've been family friends for decades. As a comic, he could be crude. He went too far (& apologized). BUT: he's NOT predatory, adores his wife & family & is a lifelong champion of women's rights.

Jonathan Alter‏ @jonathanalter
I have also known @alfranken for years and have been the recipient of his great decency. I completely agree with below and would add that all of us make dumb mistakes. But they shouldn’t be conflated with those of child molesters, perverts and rapists.

Those are dumb. No one is saying he's a child molester or rapist. Maybe a pervert I guess. He's been good to me and loves his wife and family is such a fucking bullshit deflection.

He allegedly shoved his tongue down someone's throat who didn't want it there. That's wrong. Obviously he's not Roy Moore but he should be held accountable for his actions.
