I did not even think about that. I assumed that he had a tweets stuck or something, and when he got back to the US it went, but no, pump and dump mass shooting condolences because he is either lazy, or cannot discern which tragedy happened due to his total lack of ability to be empathetic.

The sad thing is that he genuinely thought he was being clever there. I know plenty of attorneys who do this exact sort of shit in court all the time, and it's always cringeworthy.

“Let’s look at these people’s past,” Ms. Christian, who works in a doctor’s office, said. “Roy Moore — if he did it, that’s between him and God.”

Well that is a healthy way of looking at it. Bet that she thinks rapists deserve the same latitude.

Republican Roy Moore is trailing Democrat Doug Jones by 12 points in the Alabama special Senate election, according to a poll conducted by the National Republican Senatorial Committee after five women accused Moore of pursuing them as teenagers.

Jones led Moore 51 to 39 percent, according to the survey taken Sunday and Monday. The NRSC withdrew its support for Moore after the Washington Post published the first allegations against Moore on Thursday, and the group’s chairman, Sen. Cory Gardner (R-Colo.) said Moore should be expelled from the Senate if he wins on Dec. 12.

Yea, definitely need to see the ins and outs of the poll. I wouldn't be surprised if it was pretty pointed to try and force Moore out. He's a stubborn old racist though and swears God is on his side, so there's no way he's backing down.

We really haven't talked much about how the courts are getting packed with young, conservative, white, males after McConnell spent the last several years blocking any and all Obama appointments. These are lifetime appointments and are going to have decades of influence.
