No, nothing is OK. The president is a complete imbecile with garbage instincts, zero knowledge, a desire to be loved, surrounded by incompetent and/or terrible people. We have received further evidence of many of the things this morning.

I have been saying for months the person who matters is Jared Kushner. Kushner is in the administration. He has lied on his SF-86 and as of this morning it appears he lied about lying about it. Between this and some family business stuff this seems to me by far the best lever at which a criminal case gets to the highest level, which might ultimately lead to ratting on Trump. If not Jared maybe Flynn or possibly Manafort have the goods, though I'm much less optimistic about both of those things.

Don Jr. is not in government. This morning we have a clearer picture of just how fucking stupid and unscrupulous and shady he is, but being an idiot is not illegal. Maybe given this paper trail, there's Don Jr. paper trail that directly references telling his father shit, and maybe that causes things to topple. Maybe this bankshot campaign finance law angle has legs, but that seems like weak sauce.

You would do well to separate brazenly stupid or awful from illegal. Or maybe not and you can keep posting nonsense rants. That's not illegal either.

My memory isn't what it used to be but isn't that email exchange the first hard evidence of possible (if not probable) collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign? Everything to this point was "connect-the-dots" kind of stuff? That exchange pretty explicitly states that Russia is helping Trump.

I am not naive but it is incredible that Republicans continue to stand by this guy. And his supporters, supposedly red-blooded Americans, why do they continue to carry this fraud's water? Trump clears gives zero fucks about anybody except himself and those close to him.

it's definitely damning. I just don't know the laws well enough to say whether or not he broke the law. I think one of the most depressing and scary things about all of this is that they clearly want to push limits and make challenges to existing laws. I think they'll win some of those battles, more than people probably expect, though Trump doesn't have the president shield to help him with the stuff that happened before he was elected.

Their main goal seems to change who we are and what's acceptable, if not for the themselves, then for the next one in line. They can slowly erode things as the GOP has eroded the political process in general. Putin is winning right now.

You mean I was really supposed to disclose those on my security-clearance forms?
