Set aside the prospect of conviction in the Senate (too many McConnells & Cornyns & Cruz's for that to happen). drumpf's mob's crimes are almost cartoonishly more obvious -and considerably more dangerous - than Nixon's furtive burglaries and harassments.

Mueller's job isn't one of unearthing evidence, and hoping an Alexander Butterfield comes along to reveal a taping system. Mueller's is an editorial process, selecting and arranging the best, most damning stuff, from among so MUCH stuff, to bury drumpf and as many of his minions as possible, as deep as possible. In what ORDER do you knock them down? Which of them do you select to rat out particular others, because you know they'll rat; it's just how high each one can take you....

Impeachment doesn't so much require legal acumen as it requires patriotism. The latter is in short supply among congressional Republicans. "This shit" takes so much time because it takes so much time to squeeze, to distill even a gram of character out of such a meager strain.
Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

Interesting how the Clintons have made some people favor very broad interpretations of vague criminal laws.

We know McConnell knew about this but did nothing. Based on Paul Ryan's "keep it in the family" shadiness, it's probably safe to assume disgusting coward Paul Ryan was briefed and also put tax cuts for his buddies over his country. I'm glad I haven't developed a career and a personality based on worshiping him.

Hopefully we get our tax cuts soon. Also we got Gorsuch! And maybe President Pence soon. Perhaps Ryan was right and I was wrong.

But probably not

you're wrong all the time. you worship Trump enabler Christie. you built your whole identity around it. and you live in this GOP world, and you didn't even care to acknowledge the Alex Jones monster in all it's various forms that fuels your entire party. if it wasn't so pathetic I'd say it would be tragic.

Some of these things are probably true. I am certainly wrong all the time. But I do not worship Christie. He's still (mostly) dead to me.

so what take will your take be if Paul was part of briefings similar to McConnell?

So lets say Mueller comes up with something - comes up with a lot. Like obstruction of justice, money laundering, treason (yikes!)....what happens then? And how does the senate intelligence committee factor in? What is their purpose at this point?
I would rather see you lose than win myself

I am sure Ryan was made aware of Russia's election forays. I would have liked both he and McConnell to sign off on the Intel community's findings being bipartisan, contingent on a personal apology from Obama to Romney and Ryan for how he handed Russia in 2012.
