Another point about Junior saying the Russian lawyer didn't really have anything to offer and "made no sense": He's missing the possibility, perhaps even the probability that the Russian lawyer was not sent actually to convey the information but rather was sent merely to float the idea of cooperation and to gauge the Trumps' interest.

And why does no one seem to be asking who sent the lawyer? Certainly Rob Goldstone didn't ask her to go.
