I am pretty sure that's true. But those people all voted for Romney too. I absolutely think the dems need to figure out a way to be big tent on abortion. Safe legal and rare might work.

drumpf on talking to guys like Bertolini (Aetna CEO, currently) describing it as a disaster, and reiterating his weird meme that he recommended to congress Rs they should just let ACA collaps but that that wouldn't be right for the people.

This fungus knows nothing of managing, or policymaking, or decisionmaking, or how humans actually take action on any subject here on planet earth.

Still insisting all his nominations will be approved. Must be he means all of them that manage to stay nominated

so funny, all the health insurer CEOs touting all the people their firms cover, which if you add their figures would comprise about 550 million Americans.

drumpf closes press availability allowing as to how they'll probably come up with a much better less expensive plan pretty easily.

what a disgusting shitwad

President Mr Trump wrote:“I can’t do it until we do health care, because we have to know what the health care is going to cost and — statutorily — that’s the way it is. So for those people who say, ‘oh, gee, I wish we could do the tax first,’ it just doesn’t work that way. I would like to do the tax first.”

Congress could do taxes first if they wanted.

Spiecer - Special prosecutor for what.

@ almost the same time...

Mulveney talking about the 58B$ increase in rebuilding the military. Going to pay for that by off setting other wasteful government programs. He mentioned $ sent to other countries to which a reported suggest that was less then 1%. I did not stick around for more. TBF the military does have needs to recap some equipment, and in that same line there are certainly redundant programs. Lets see what $58B looks like in cut, and what will it do to the general workforce?

We need a bigger Navy! Not enough ships. Any Navy men want to comment? Are we back to the 1917 Navy again?

In 1916, the U.S. Navy had 245 active ships. During World War II the number peaked at massive 6,768. Th According the the Navy website there are 273 deployable ships (there are like 400 total ships in various states), which is the lowest since 1916. In that pile, there are 11 aircraft carriers , 31 amphibious ships, 14 submarines capable of launching nuclear ballistic missiles and four cruise missiles submarines, none of which could have been imagined in 1917. First carrier was 1920, and battleships were pre-dreadnought (featuring really cool super structures to support radio communications). Basically, it is BS.

Spicer is truly wretched. KellyAnne is equally obnoxious, but much more BS skilled. The best Trump apologists I see are some cute little blonde on CNN - Kayleigh McEnany - who looks ditzy but is quick with good lawyerspeak, and Tom Barrack, the old bald guy who surfaces once in a while. He's as comforting as your favorite uncle - but might not have the stamina to be defending the SCROTUS full time.

Mo Brooks is apparently unaware that his shithole state is a net recipient of federal tax dough.

Fuck you, Mo, and fuck the toothless sisterfuckers who elected you, and may more of your constituents die in the muddy streets of your ass-ugly state because you're all for repealing ACA and "going back to the law that was in place in 2009" you dimwitted asshole.

Exempting police and fire is so fucking cynical but I'm sure it works a lot. I guess it lines up with their "all spending is bad except defense" philosophy.

ALLEGHENY COUNTY, Pa. - A federal judge ruled against the Pine Richland School District Monday in a lawsuit over transgender students’ bathroom rights.

The judge ruled that the district must allow transgender students to use the bathroom that matches the gender with which they identify.

Three transgender students, including Jackie Evancho’s sister Juliet Evancho, sued the district in October. Lambda Legal filed the lawsuit on the students’ behalf after the Pine-Richland School Board in September voted to reverse the school district's longstanding, inclusive restroom practice.

The ruling comes after less than a week after the Trump administration lifted federal guidelines that allowed transgender students to use school bathrooms and locker rooms matching their gender identities.

The administration came down on the side of states' rights, lifting Obama-era federal guidelines that had been characterized by Republicans as an example of overreach.
