Trump blamed 'the generals' for the Navy Seal raid outcome and actually it was very successful.

details, details

yeah, it's a good story, but will no doubt involve something about letting pharma do whatever it wants

Wonderful Twitter exchange, to remind us that sports heroes are not always great people, example (stopped counting) from Curt Schilling:

Jason Kander wrote:POTUS just said our soldiers "don't fight to win." I'd happily introduce him to some friends of mine who have fought pretty hard to win.

Curt Schilling wrote:@JasonKander know he was referring to leadership and not the soldiers on the ground. But that doesn't allow you to piss about it of you

<random twitter exchanges with others, Curt still a dipshit>

Curt Schilling wrote:@etrigan_27 @JasonKander and elsewhere all seemed like warfighters working their asses off to win. Jason, spend much time outside the wire?

Jason Kander wrote:A LOT of folks did more than me, but yes, I was outside the wire about 4 days/week. How about your deployment, Curt?

Curt Schilling wrote:@JasonKander I wasn't deployed, I just had the honor of spending 18 days in theater while visiting soldiers who actually did stuff.

Jason Kander wrote:@gehrig38 (editor note: Schilling's handle) Thank you for your service. We are forever in your debt.

You had a Brit and a Libertarian say you're wrong, that's it. You like to blow up problems and dissenters. Everyone else either agreed, or questioned the degree (greatest vs regular ol'). Pac didn't take a stance on his monster-ocity, but bemoaned his failings.

Yemen SEAL raid yielded no significant intelligence:

http://www.nbcnews.com/news/investigati ... ls-n726451

The White House has repeatedly called the Yemen mission a success. White House spokesman Sean Spicer said on Feb. 8 that anyone "who undermines the success of that raid owes an apology and [does] a disservice to the life of Chief Owens."

"We gathered an unbelievable amount of intelligence that will prevent the potential deaths or attacks on American soil," said Spicer.

But the real heart of the legislation is what Democrats say is the guilt by association — and giving the government the right to criminally prosecute and seize the assets of everyone who planned a protest and everyone who participated. And what’s worse, said Sen. Steve Farley, D-Tucson, is that the person who may have broken a window, triggering the claim there was a riot, might actually not be a member of the group but someone from the other side.

here’s something else: By including rioting in racketeering laws, it actually permits police to arrest those who are planning events. And Kavanagh, a former police officer, said if there are organized groups, “I should certainly hope that our law enforcement people have some undercover people there.’’
“Wouldn’t you rather stop a riot before it starts?’’ Kavanagh asked colleagues during debate. “Do you really want to wait until people are injuring each other, throwing Molotov cocktails, picking up barricades and smashing them through businesses in downtown Phoenix?’’
Sen. Sylvia Allen, R-Snowflake, said the new criminal laws are necessary.
“I have been heartsick with what’s been going on in our country, what young people are being encouraged to do,’’ she said.

He called the fight against Islamic terrorism a fucking crusade and that "God told me to end the tyranny in Iraq."

So you'll get no argument from me.

It seems to me this could also apply to say anyone who had anything to do with a riot during a championship celebration. I know there probably isn't a team in Arizona likely to win a championship in anything, but still.

You can replace "evangelicalism" with "narcissism" and rewrite that story about Trump. "Instincts" over "facts." "Gut feeling" over "expert analysis."

I once gave Trump credit for being Rain Man - but he's not even an idiot savant. He'd have more money if he'd put his inheritance into an index fund instead of attempting to be a real estate investor. Born on third base, thinks he hit a triple.

Clearly, his dad paid off his college profs, because the man is barely literate. He's good at making himself famous - and nothing else.

He's the old, fat, ugly, mean, and extra-vulgar Kardashian.
