I mean, the daughter is someone who was given a near-death sentence at 15 years old and her dad founded a pharma company to research a drug to save her life and she's now at Notre Dame. It's a generic inspiring guest that usually attend these things, but the inspiring should not be overlooked.

Curt Schilling wrote:@etrigan_27 @JasonKander and elsewhere all seemed like warfighters working their asses off to win. Jason, spend much time outside the wire?
Jason Kander wrote:A LOT of folks did more than me, but yes, I was outside the wire about 4 days/week. How about your deployment, Curt?
Curt Schilling wrote:@JasonKander I wasn't deployed, I just had the honor of spending 18 days in theater while visiting soldiers who actually did stuff.
Jason Kander wrote:@gehrig38 (editor note: Schilling's handle) Thank you for your service. We are forever in your debt.

The White House has repeatedly called the Yemen mission a success. White House spokesman Sean Spicer said on Feb. 8 that anyone "who undermines the success of that raid owes an apology and [does] a disservice to the life of Chief Owens."
"We gathered an unbelievable amount of intelligence that will prevent the potential deaths or attacks on American soil," said Spicer.

And what’s worse, said Sen. Steve Farley, D-Tucson, is that the person who may have broken a window, triggering the claim there was a riot, might actually not be a member of the group but someone from the other side.here’s something else: By including rioting in racketeering laws, it actually permits police to arrest those who are planning events. And Kavanagh, a former police officer, said if there are organized groups, “I should certainly hope that our law enforcement people have some undercover people there.’’
“Wouldn’t you rather stop a riot before it starts?’’ Kavanagh asked colleagues during debate. “Do you really want to wait until people are injuring each other, throwing Molotov cocktails, picking up barricades and smashing them through businesses in downtown Phoenix?’’
Sen. Sylvia Allen, R-Snowflake, said the new criminal laws are necessary.
“I have been heartsick with what’s been going on in our country, what young people are being encouraged to do,’’ she said.
