DeAgazio said he’d been impressed with how the president had handled the situation.
“There wasn’t any panicked look. Most of the people [on the terrace] didn’t even realize what was happening,” DeAgazio said. “I thought he handled it very calmly, and very presidentially.”
Security experts have said this casual approach to national security discussions was very risky.
The two leaders could have discussed classified documents within earshot of waiters and club patrons. Those cellphones-turned-flashlights might also have been a problem: if one of them had been hacked by a foreign power, the phone’s camera could have provided a view of what the documents said.
But DeAgazio, for one, said he was impressed that Trump had not gotten up from the table immediately, to seek a more private (and better-lit) place for his discussion with Abe.
“He chooses to be out on the terrace, with the members. It just shows that he’s a man of the people,” DeAgazio said.
DeAgazio also posted photos of himself with a man that he identified as the military member who carries the “football” that would allow President Trump to launch a nuclear attack. In that Facebook post, DeAgazio described how “the football” functions, but said that the military member did not divulge that information to him.
“I looked it up” on Wikipedia, DeAgazio said. “He didn’t say anything to me.”
Was DeAgazio worried about the national-security implications of Trump’s al-fresco discussion with Abe? He was not. He said he was sure they had not been overheard.
“You don’t hear anything. You can’t hear,” DeAgazio said, because of the background music and other diners’ chatter. “I mean, I can barely hear what’s going on at my table.”
After The Post spoke to DeAgazio, he deleted his Facebook account.

I thought this was a great interview. Democrats would be wise to pay attention.
Why? It's not as if Jim Webb ever saw eye to eye with the Democrats on social or economic issues. He was only ever marginally a Democrat and mostly got attention from progressives for his opposition to the Iraq War and call for prison reform. He never even makes it to DC if George Allen doesn't refer to a brown kid as "macaca."
He has reasonable ideas on multiculturalism and moving away from outdated notions of racial divides in our country, but he is throwing his hat in with a group of people who believe in the antithesis of that simply because they also want to eliminate affirmative action programs... for an entirely different--and far less altruistic--reason.
So no, that's not a lesson that the Democrats should be learning from.
The interview had nothing to do with Webb's views or positions. More a general discussion on the Democratic Party punting with the white, working class and moving towards constant identity politics.
Yet I've read articles from Webb talking about how the "white working class" isn't a monolith, blah, blah, blah.
At the end of the day, the Democrats got beat badly because people didn't like Hillary Clinton and her campaign exacerbated her weaknesses in certain vulnerable states by not even showing up there. It's not #$!&@ rocket science.
I guess they took massive losses in state legislatures, governor races, the House and Senate in the last 8 years because people didn't like Hillary Clinton.
I can't help you people anymore. I've tried. You can follow the likes of pacino into political abyss. Maybe after another round of losses in 2018 you'll start to get it.
Even with what states the senate seats are up in, if the Dems can't get a majority in 2018 then they might as well give up.
Oh, and I hope Hillary is not thinking of running in 2020
Focus on the house. And Hillary is obviously not running for president again.

Trump states? Not sure how many of them will still be trump states in 2018 (pa is not a trump state or even a red one). If Dems turnout in record breaking numbers to vote I don't see why it's not possible based on how incompetent and fascist trumps admin is.

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A judge has convicted the man who pulled a gun on a crowd of people during a Black Lives Matter rally outside the Multnomah County Justice Center.
The crowd was never threatening Michael Strickland, police and prosecutors have maintained. Many of the people in the crowd had their hands raised, and when Strickland pulled his gun, fled the area in panic.
Police were quick to arrive and take Strickland into custody.
