Is it just me or did drumpf's eyes blink more times in the ~ 12 second speech he made in the wake of the N Korean rocket launch expressing undying American fealty to our Japanese ally than they've blinked since the days he was bonking his 2nd wife behind the back of his first wife because wife 2 wasn't his wife yet

I mean he blinked like a hostage sending morse code messages

UN Ambassador Haley apparently wasn't satisfied with her boss's mealymouthed nothing response to the N Koreans; she's calling on us & our allies to saddle up & take it to NKorea "and its enablers", "not with our words but with our actions"

This Flynn thing is heating up. Hard to believe he called without Trump's request.

Trump club members get access, while reporters stew

Choice:

“While the president and Prime Minister Abe were golfing, the press corps was actually put into a basement, with windows that had black plastic over them — they looked like garbage bags,” said Alex Howard, deputy director of the Sunlight Foundation, which says it wants to create a more open, transparent government.

Hope he's as innately vengeful as he seems. His greatest service to his country may be yet to come.

Conventional Rs are in a tight spot. You don't investigate now, looks like you're in on the plot. Because you know other people who are NOT Rs will be pulling on threads, and people already leaking will have all the more reason to spill with this event; they may be easy to convince they're saving their own hides

Need a special prosecutor. No way Sessions can fairly investigate this. Also the Senate needs to have more visible hearings on the entire administrations connections to Russia.

EDIT: Somehow I fat fingered fairly to autocorrect to Farley.

Don't bet on it. The republicans are all in on treason. They'll soon learn that Moscow is basically Houston with really shirty weather. Even if you get a chunk of rosneft out of the deal.

In non-Russia news, the Freedom Caucus (or Fuckhead Caucus, if you're tired and unoriginal) have taken an official stance that they will oppose any repeal/replace plan that preserves Medicaid expansion. Jon Favreau states that the Senate GOP does not have enough votes to end Medicaid expansion, putting ACA work in a bind.

Sometimes the slow grind of bicameralism is a wonderful thing.

Pretty sure a Farley investigation is what we'll get.

He may have made more noise in 3 weeks than other Presidents have in 4 years, but his actual achievements so far have been seriously lacking.

This seems completely insane when you look at the states that have benefited from expansion. Scott Perry doesn't look completely acephalic. PA expanded Medicaid. Has he asked people running hospitals in Gettysburg or Camp HIll what they think about him signing on to this shit? Or maybe their employees, or those of businesses that have contracts with those hospitals?

ARI-FUCKING-ZONA expanded Medicaid.

Do assholes like Trent Franks or Paul Gosar or David Schweikert even know whether they have hospitals in their districts? Franks & Schweikert definitely do.

What in the literal fuck is wrong with these guys?
