Ben Carson is now the head of HUD. Hopefully he's a good learner.

WARSAW, Poland (AP) — A Polish court has ruled in favor of the government in its standoff with a major new World War II museum that had been fighting for its survival.

The conflict revolves around the Museum of the Second World War in Gdansk, which has been under creation since 2008 and was scheduled to open within weeks.

The decision by the Supreme Administrative Court on Tuesday is a victory for the populist and nationalistic Law and Justice ruling party, allowing it to take control of one of the last public institutions that had remained independent following the party's rise to power in 2015.

The government opposed the museum because it takes an international approach to telling the story of the war, and has vowed to make it a purely Polish story.

Erdogan is now fearmongering about Gulenist takeovers in other countries. Sigh.

the companies offer different plans within those counties, fwiw.

and those counties had zero options prior to ACA's implementation. Perhaps we should tweak the aspects that aren't perfect instead of throwing it all out?

And that one out of the three probably trends toward the least populated counties. It's definitely a problem, but it's an inherent one from using the private sector--at a certain level, market factors bring limitations.

I get that, and I'm far from a health care policy wonk.

the conservative republican party created the atmosphere that led to president mr trump's takeover of their own party. whether he is or isn't a 'classical' conservative is frankly irrelevant. he's going to implement all their wet dreams and they will love it. he's a conservative. he's a republican. and the new normal is here to stay.

what is a plan that could even be better that is further right? they all talk about that state line thing, but from my understanding it exists in a few states already and no insurance companies even bother because thats not how insurance works.

those counties have less options to eat out, they have less options to pick from a car dealer, etc etc

we used a market-based idea to solve healthcare access. this is what tends to happen. that was the COMPROMISE that the Democrats got no compromise on. should've offered some kind of nationwide option that the public could've bought into, i guess. we still can, actually!

yeah, this Trump isn't a Republican is such idiotic rhetoric. they opened their tent for the tcots, the uneducated voter that's convinced Obama is a gay Muslim. that's as much a part of their fabric as any Milton Friedman screed. you can't separate the GOP from their major media outlets in Infowars & Breitbart, and Trump is a full embodiment of that type of media and media consumer.
This is what a real tenderoni likes to do for you

When drumpf doesn't deliver meaningful infrastructure dough - because congressional Rs will either have to completely abandon their deficit hypocricy OR block tax cuts to approve more than token projects -it seems likely that union voters, like non-union voters, will blame drumpf, or congressional Rs, or both. And their reaction to any schemes to "privatize" infrastructure projects may be even stronger.

The Republicans will get in line and do exactly what Trump tells them to............just like Little Marco yesterday.

Works for me...makes it all the easier to paint them all as accomplices to rape when they run for re-election.

Right - which won't be good for congressional Rs in 2 yrs, because drumpf's ready to spend like a drunken sailor, & plenty of Rs have made their careers opposing any spending, even spending that's paid for - and the kind of yuge infrastructure spending drumpf's all for won't be paid for. dems will insist it is, and they won't go for any privatization flimflam, & drumpf will get impatient at Rs resistance, and ultimately torch any slim chance he has of a 2nd term.

Unions win; drumpf and/or Rs lose.

We can go as slow on this stuff as you need us to.

that is precisely my point, and it is not at all the problem that Senator Dipshit, with Price singing the chorus, were attempting to make it

"cross-border health insurance sales" serves only as a marker for the most rigidly ideological tea partiers. It's been tried, it's failed, it's stupid, and should be laughed aloud at.
