Alice is so fucking good and its extremely inexpensive. Rione is solid but feels like its missing something

Local TV channel 6 does a credible 3 minute video introducing Alice, Rione, Porta, and Medusa.

TP, how about a top 5 or 10 list in the greater philly area? I'm hungry.

I expect I would love it - and Brigantessa, Pizza Gutt, Pitruco - but those are the leading contenders I haven't had yet.

Is the Gennaros on Bainbridge (formerly at 12 and South) the one we are talking about?

It's a block away but just looks like a dinky take out place.

Right - but not sure if it's open yet. Can't find it on the Parx site.

That was GREAT tomato pie on Jackson St.

yah, the Jackson St. pizza was way better than the pizza on Passyunk. They were in there cleaning out the place the other day and the Lease sign is now down off of the building. I'm guessing they'll be moving into Parx soon enough(dunno why its so late as is).

(dinner at square pie on wednesday)

Scarfed one tray of Colarusso’s old forge style last week. Not the best by any means but makes me the hungriest

anybody had Aurelio's? one just opened up near me in Chicago (which is the homebase) but there are locations at random spots throughout the country.

Somehow today is the first I heard about the Philly-local-style "pizzazz" (alt pizzaz) pizza with no sauce, American cheese, slices of tomato. More of an open-faced grilled cheese?

https://slice.seriouseats.com/2011/09/d ... lphia.html

Have you had it?
