A friend of mine here in Switzerland had the police called on him because his dog was barking too loudly at the dog park. He got a $100 fine. I'm not joking.

My dog had been acting strange Saturday night and I did not realize until letting him out that he had been scratching heavily at his front leg/armpit area. I took a look and the armpit was raw and a bit bloody. Seemed like he got bit by something.

So I put a vet prescribed ointment on it from a previous bite and some standard A&D to give it some moisture. Everything is fine yesterday (though I had him in a T-shirt so he couldn’t get at the area).

Today his armpit had two blackish bumps which immediately put me in freakout mode. Took him to the vet and the doc said it concerned him. First time ever. My dog has lumps and not one to date concerned the doc. This one does.

Waiting 4 days for lab results.

This sucks.

Pup is hurting too right now. Totally not himself.

Thanks. He’s not young but also not old (8).

Just hoping it’s not cancer. If it is a tumor, given the location, there’s probably no way they can remove without amputating his front leg.

In the meantime he’s on the Barry bonds roids and creams.
