It's not like he is playing a Storm Trooper...

On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?

The third anthology film to be directed by Josh Trank--rumored to be a Boba Fett feature--was cancelled by Disney.

There will presumably be a replacement SW film slotted for 2020, and the rumored replacement is an Obi-Wan film. My guess is that they have something in mind but are going to hold off until they see how Rogue One does.

Got my tickets. AMC's website was awful to deal with.

3D IMAX on the 15th. Was very pleased to see that my theatre actually went with reserved seating this time around.

Got tickets to the first standard showing (no 3D/IMAX) at my theater this morning.

It's pretty annoying that the first showing overall at every theater in my area was the 3D version. I don't care much for 3D and don't want to be distracted the first time around, so that won out for me over getting the first screening like I did with TFA.

My company coordinated a private screening for all NJ-based employees at the Moorestown Mall theater on 12/16. During work hours even!

Fucking io9 has a spoiler title/photo for its article about the presence of a classic character (not Vader) in Rogue One.

I'd been avoiding more trailers solely because I wanted to have a few surprises in a film where most of the storyline could've been predicted twelve months ago. I'd seen an article reference it this morning, but it was spoiler-free, so I just didn't click on it.

I really hate the internet sometimes.

My preferred imax did not have reserved. So I grabbed Tix for the other imax with reserved for 12/16.

There was quite a few comments along those lines, but yeah I posted one. Pretty sure I told them to fuck off too.

So has anyone read (or going to read) the book Catalyst that sets the stage for Rogue One? I'm a big fan of James Luceno's books, so I'm biased, but I thought it was good, and sets the stage for the relationships of all of the characters quite nicely.

It helps if you've read Tarkin (came out last year) as well, but it's not a must.
