It would be kinda fun for Spielberg to direct one. See if he can recapture some that magic.

That is, if George Lucas can be made to stay as far away from the script, set, etc., as humanly possible.

The best news we could hope for is Lucas coming out publicly weeks before the release and disowning the movie. That's how you'll know it'll be good.

If J.J. Abrams directed it you'd find out Anakin was Luke's grandson that was sent back in time.

Go outside the box and get someone like they did with Azkaban--Alfonso Cuaron. (I'm not suggesting Cuaron himself, but something like that. Actually, maybe Cuaron would be good.

Rumor is that Michael Arndt, who wrote Little Miss Sunshine and the screenplay to Toy Story 3, will be the writer for VII

Script not even written and they've already ruined it. I'm sure they'll bring a dead Yoda back too. Really hoping for Darth Mouse to ruin everything.

Vader will be back

Vader and Emperor in ROTJ were really just clones!

In all seriousness, there's pretty much no way that we wouldn't at least see Anakin/Vader in flashback/dream sequences. I don't believe for a single second that he will be literally resurrected b/c it would utterly destroy the rise/fall/redemption story of Anakin. It depends on how much time has passed between Eps VI and VII, but my guess is that the remnants of the Empire will have an imposter dressed as Vader (and possibly even Palpatine) to instill fear.

Sounds like BS. The only source mentioned is "industry insiders" and that's bad even by Lucas standards.
