I'm not sure, but the NTC might simply carry over from the old contract, because this is just an extension, rather than a new contract (unless specifically voided by the terms of the extension).

“This is the place I want to be,” Halladay said. “This is my choice. I was holding out hope and trying to be as optimistic as possible that I’d end up here, and it happened.”
