Roy Halladay

Roy Halladay

Postby Eem » Wed Dec 16, 2009 15:43:11

With the deal offical, with all of us likely on the verge of being fired from our jobs for lack of productivity, with all the words exchanged in favor, against, or lukewarm to this blockbuster, I felt it nice to have a thread just to reflect on the player we will get to watch for the next half decade, Roy Halladay.

Ladies and gentlemen, this guy is fucking good.

Bittersweet for me as I really liked Lee. I loved the way he played the game, his enthusiasm about batting, and his overall demeanor.

With that said, I'm ecstatic that Halladay will be replacing him. Opening Day can't come quick enough.

Good Lord, I remember that. I was sitting up in the 500 level freezing my tuchas off.

I remember Reggie Sanders hitting a grand slam in the first inning and Jim Thome tripling off the left centerfield wall in his first home AB.
