And if Lee goes to Seattle, I would hope that Seattle has to give up more than just 3 prospects. The 2 prospects the Phillies are getting better be solid.

Something that needs to be considered. Lee at $9M is a huge bargain, and Seattle knows that. So if we are dealing Lee, we should expect at least 2 2nd tier prospects, or one elite prospect, plus maybe more. Even with only 1 year left on his deal.

It's time Ruben busted out the smugness and told Toronto that if they want 18 prospects that he'll just give them Lee and they can handle the prospecting themselves.

I'm prepared to hate this, and I didn't think it was possible to hate a deal that landed Halladay.
