Tyson Gillies. I remember watching the Futures game where he was being interviewed. Nice story; he's partially deaf and is supposedly one of the fastest players in the minors.

Yeah, I looked at his #s on Baseball Cube. Draws walks, steals bases, some pop and just 20 at high-A last year so better stuff might be coming.

From conversations I’ve had today, it doesn’t sound like anything will be official tonight because, with a deal this complicated, it takes time for medical records to be exchanged and reviewed. Also, we haven’t received word on which prospects will be headed where. One report indicated Michael Taylor would be headed to the Jays. Another mentioned Domonic Brown as the prospect who will be traded by the Phillies. For those of you who are wondering why the Phillies have to trade Lee in order to get Halladay, or why they’d be willing to do so, I’m planning a longer, more analytical post later tonight. Please check back for that.
