May be a false alarm on Carassco. MLB.com listed his as the scheduled starter for tonight and Chacin is starting instead. However, another poster said it was Chacin's turn in the rotation and MLB.com had it wrong.

Maybe Carpenter got called up because Happ is being traded for Halladay and Roy won't be in town in time to make Happ's start on Friday. So Carpenter starts on Friday and Halladay goes Saturday. It almost makes sense.
