I think the point is, you can develop pitchers until you're blue in the face (or other areas) but the chance that any of them will ever approach Roy Halladay's level is very slim

Ugh, I started posting in the other thread, but the topic was locked when I hit "submit" and I lost everything I had written.

Continuing from the last thread, though Zolecki did not state it directly, it must be said that his little post about Drabek and the Halladay sweepstakes seemed to strongly indicate that there is a possibility that if the Phillies included Drabek in a deal for Halladay, they would NOT need to give up Happ/Taylor/Brown/Knapp. If this is at all true, is there ANYBODY here who wouldn't do:

Drabek + any other three prospects you care to name for Halladay?

I mean, if that is really on the table, that is a straight STEAL for the Phillies, all due respect to Drabek. I hope to high heaven they haven't turned their backs on a deal like that.
