Halladay IV: A New Hope

that is hysterical because I watched an interview with him from yesterday that totally contradicts this. He was asked if the return for Halladay would be less in the off-season than now and his response was (paraphrase) "I don't see us trading him in the off-season if we don't deal him this month".

Gammons:

Dodgers Assistant GM Logan White has been in Toronto for the last two series, and L.A. is still hoping to stay in the Halladay sweepstakes, according to ESPN's Peter Gammons. Contrary to reports from other teams, the Dodgers will take Halladay's contract, and they have several Single-A and Double-A prospects to trade, such as shortstop Dee Gordon (Tom's son), 3B Josh Bell, OF-1B Andrew Lambo and OF Ethan Martin.

There are two problems: L.A. does not have top pitching prospects at the upper minor league levels and no Toronto scouts have been in to watch the Dodgers' major league team in the last week. Still, one executive Wednesday said, "keep your eye on the Dodgers." L.A. has also been looking at Jays relievers, such as Jason Frasor.

When all this is over, he's going to admit that he doesn't know who Halladay is.

If J.P. Riccardi told me it was raining outside, I'd go check before I bothered to look for an umbrella.

Every single thing the guy says contradicts something he said five or ten minutes ago.

Maybe Rubes can hint about having a job opening for JP "if the price is right"

Not really my point, but oh well.

The guy simply can't tell the truth. And he's a terrible liar.

Rotowire
Jul 22 The Brewers had their top scouts watch Lee pitch on Tuesday night against Toronto, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Recommendation: Lee would come with a very steep price tag so it's still unlikely that he gets traded, but Indians will at least listen to offers.

Toronto 0

Despite what you've read, I believe the Phils odds of landing Halladay have increased over the last week. . .

. . .wouldnt be shocked if Drabek, Taylor, Donald are all in play.

The question is who is feeding him this info and why.
I know what you're asking yourself and the answer is yes. I have a nick name for my penis. Its called the Octagon, but I also nick named my testes - my left one is James Westfall and my right one is Doctor Kenneth Noisewater.

Well yeah, but I'm sure that's really really really far down on the list of deciding factors

Done.

Getting Halladay and keeping Drabek and Brown would be outstanding.
