The problem is I am not sure the rankings of Wimbledon always match the World Rankings but I don't know where I heard it or how Wimbledon ranks players.
They don't. They do their own rankings.

Basically they seed 32 players, and the rest of the draw is completely random. Then they have the computer put the 32 into the draw following certain rules (i.e. each of the top 4 have to be in a different quarter).

Venus in a tough one. Faced a few match points already in the end of the 3rd in basically a first to break wins situation.

Edit: she lost

Top seeded halep drops the second and third sets to bow out to an unseeded player.

Womens draw is a real mess. Max of 9/16 seeded players in the 4th round. Top 6 all gone and 9 of the top 10.

Only been watching for a short while. Federer with a chance to win with a break, but doesn't seem like he can handle Anderson's serve.

Hasn't broken Anderson in like 22 or 23 service games. Pretty surprising for Roger.

Federer broken, Anderson serving for match.

Anderson serves it out and advances.

Might as well mention that American John Isner advanced to the semis, as well. Will take on Federer killer Anderson.

Isner/ Anderson could go on forever. 10-10 in the fifth. Though Isner can no longer move, and I suppose either one's serve could go out of whack with fatigue and so many moving parts.

It's recently come to my attention that Isner appears to be a MAGA dbag, so go Anderson.

Though I suppose a white South African is a little iffy too.

lol I said basically the exact same thing to my friend this morning, "though I think it's fair to be wary of any white south african"

At 5:45. These five setters are epic, but I'm not sure anyone should play tennis for six hours.
