So Nadal is up to 17 majors if he wins tomorrow, that's crazy.

so much grunting.

nadal taking care of business fairly easily. don't see why you'd get into baseline rallies with this guy. you're not going to win.

They made a great point that Federer coming back down 3-1 in the 5th in last year's Aussie may have kept Nadal from passing him soon as it would be 19-18 Rodger leading if Rafa would have held on to that.

Even if he passes Roger with like 13 French and 8 others, Roger would still be the GOAT imo. Wouldn't surprise me if he won 15 of these damn things though.

Roger is unfathomable. Won 17 slams in 8 years. More than half of them. Then somehow, incomprehensibly in hindsight, didn't win one for 6 years. And now has won 75% of the ones he's entered in the last year and a half.

If Nadal passes him he has a decent case imo, he would probably have to play amazing tennis for the next 3-5 years to pass him. It's possible since Roger is about 5 years older and has found a way to continue to play at a high level.

Also he has the head to head, even though he is younger. Interesting that they both had 17 slams at age 32.

Fed v Nadal - 15-23
Fed v Joker - 22-23

Say it ends up like 23-22 Nadal in Majors AND Nadal adds 2 or 3 outside of the French AND has the head to head versus Roger it would be a tough call.

It's like what they said on the telecast that Roddick said, no reason to crown the GOAT until they are both done playing and you can examine their careers.

I mean there's no reason to do it at all but this is being a sports fan.

Andy Murray pulled out and Sloane got bounced in 1st round. Also Nadal and Federer would meet in Semis.

it is kinda interesting. Somewhat betting that he has reached iconic status I guess and can still sell clothes after he's retired.

Not that that much was expected, but Wawrinka in big trouble, down 2 sets, 4-4 in the third.

isner’s meltdown claiming the Hawkeye was incorrectly calling shots in was great.

Federer in studio was also great.

Cilic goes down after being up 2-0 yesterday.

Think Kevin Anderson is top seed left in federer’s path to the final.

I don’t think the 1 and 2 can ever meet before the final. One is usually on top of the bracket and the two is on the bottom of the bracket.

The problem is I am not sure the rankings of Wimbledon always match the World Rankings but I don't know where I heard it or how Wimbledon ranks players.

Darren Rovell @darrenrovell Jul 4

Imagine doing a $300 million deal. Not announcing it and offering no product to satisfy fans. This is what happens when you search “Federer” on Uniqlo’s website.
