Anderson has lost his last 5 break chances. Where was this vs Federer?

Not sure it is as much Tennis as it is serving practice.

They've each traveled about 2.5 miles in points alone.

They've played 88 games and are going on 6 hours. I am guessing that 2.5 miles is pretty low per game played but I doubt those stats exist.

Quick google search says average running distance in a normal match is 3 miles so this is very low.

Interesting that they've each reached or exceeded 250 serves. Glad there's no pitch count.

Someone already has the match posted in the wikipedia article on longest tennis matches with the note [still playing.] That seems a little obsessive.

isner finally gets broken. 24-25. no idea why, at 0-15, he lobbed it over when anderson was laying on the ground.

This is via the IBM Stattrack of the match. They were at about 12500-13000 feet when I posted it.

If you average it out per game played it is very low. But when you have over 100 total aces you aren't going to have many long rallies.
