Today's match should explain it to you.

Keys and VWilliams are at least slight favorites. Either of the other two winning would be significant upsets.

Keys is a huge favorite. Venus actually a slight underdog and Stephens a slight favorite. Coco a decent underdog.

del Potro at 4:1 is not horrible but probably is a trap.

I have watched more tennis in the last week than I have in the previous 25 years (and I was big into tennis as a teenager). Much like with soccer, it is fun to watch our women actually have some success in international competitions. That Keys match was really good. If she finds some consistency with her backhand, I think she has a legit shot at lifting the hardware this coming weekend.

Querrey blows a 6-1 lead in the breaker but converts his 8th set point to even it up.

Dammit Querrey. Lost to South African Sam Querrey.

Go Fed/Nadal. And go USA women.

Querrey's first serve really let him down last night; only hit on 55% for the match and 52% in sets 3 and 4. Comparatively, Anderson (whose serve is every bit as fast as Querrey's) hit on 67% for the match and 61% in sets 3 and 4. Had a nice run though.

sucked that there's an american playing really well and a thousand people stay for the match. there was zero crowd energy and i think querrey could've used a pick me up.
