Unseeded American Natalie Gibbs takes the first set 6-2 from the Top Seeded Pliskova

Update: Pliskova wins the 2nd set and is up a break in the 3rd. Was fun while it lasted.

First one was quick at least. Seems like his back injury is hindering him. Wouldn't be surprised to see him go out at any point.

Isner was the top seed left in the bottom half, loses in straight sets. Was down a break in the tiebreak and didn't challenge a clearly long second serve that would have got it back on serve.

I don't watch much tennis obv, but it's crazy Del Potro is ranked only 24th after last year's showing. I guess he's stunk all year?

Me and my cousin were talking about that the other day. Wondering what happened to the ump.

Shapovalov goes out in straight sets, losing all three tiebreakers.

Sharapova gone too.

querrey looks awesome. takes the first two sets in under an hour. just killing the ball. would love to see him in the final.

gets down 0-30 to start the third, goes 129-126-134-129 for four straight untouchable aces.
