Rhys got internal brace repair surgery on his UCL on Friday, out 4-6 months

I thought original prognosis was 3-4 months for Rhys bc of it being his non-throwing arm. 6 months puts the beginning of next season in doubt which stinks.

If they can get springer and Cruz on decent deals, I would be ok with JT walking. I wouldn't like it, but I would be ok with it. The offense would be replaced and a Knapp/Marchan platoon would work with the rest of the offense.

My concern now is that Didi, JT, and Bruce will all walk and we'll end up with a very mediocre offense on top of the other problems. If I wake up on opening day and see Kingery as a regular and JT is gone, I'll know we screwed everything up.

The qualifying offer number in order to receive draft compensation for departing free agents is $18.9 million. I'd offer both Realmuto and Gregorius in a heartbeat.

Well the issue is if you end up giving JT ~25 AAV like what’s been discussed and then Didi takes that you’ve spent 44 of the 60 million that has come off the books and you haven’t touched CF, DH or pitching. Probably would have to dump Segura and slot kingery or another cheap option at 2nd.
Two days later I get a text back that says I'm a basketball player and a businessman, not a Thundercat.
