yes, he always had that hockey cadence that does not work well with baseball. it's a shame, because he understands and has a real feel for the game, unlike our TV pbp guy.
he is good at football. That's basically where I'm at, but while I could see where people would be annoyed by his PBP, generally his enthusiasm won me over. We could do better, but I also know we could do far worse. And I always liked his post-game show.
