Hey I got one right. Still would have done it.

We will wait for a potential trade but the offseason up to this point has been bad. Plenty of ammo at the deadline I guess and now they don’t have to be scared about the expansion draft anymore.

It’s starting to look like NP is going to be able to play this season. He’s been participating in off season pick up games with other players near home. Granted that these aren’t NHL games but he has been able to play in these matches for over a week now. Here’s hoping.

Unfortunately that’s the Flyers strategy. Hoping he’s ok.

If he continues to play in these scrimmages without any difficulties, hoping that he’s fine becomes the reality. He wouldn’t be the first player to overcome migraines. From what has been reported, that is the issue. He’s not a multi concussed Eric Lindros.

What other approach can they take with it? It's not like they are counting on him to be a 40 goal scorer and if he isn't they are done, they really just need him to be a 3rd line center and if he can't be that I am sure they will be aggressive during the season to find someone who can.

I mean look, I hope so too. That solves alot of problems. I would have preferred a different option and set yourself up so that anything Patrick gives you is a bonus. It just appears like they are setting themselves up for a untenable situation.

Lost in NP’s migraine issues and injury riddled first two seasons with the club is the fact that going into the draft, he was an even odds pick to be the top selection. If he is physically fine, he has all that it takes to be a big time player. His career is mirroring that of Keith Primeau’s. The Red Wings were too quick to dump him and the Flyers benefitted greatly from that. Just my guess but I think that Patrick will have a first half of the season where he settles in. Then in the second part, his game exerts itself. Aside from his migraines, the physical tools are there.
