don't think there's a better coach in the league who knows how to control the tempo of the game. knows how to play two bigs together. doesn't have a system really, more or less does the best with the cards he's dealt, so he's flexible. overachieved the last year in Sacramento, who's front office has been a mess since vlade arrived. his memphis teams were tough and always showed up. very good day game coach.

Generally there’s not a home run candidate and you have to hope that whoever they bring in just clicks for whatever reason. Could get a McAdoo could get a Dug.

What funny is everyone’s gut reaction to Ty Lue (including mine) is “meh” but we might not even get him if he’s our first choice

Something to be said for him dealing with stars I guess but his whole system in playoffs for cavs was run a P&R to get the right matchup on a switch, and we fucking suck at P&R. Maybe that’s a reason to bring him in to coach that up though. Who knows

I'm actually all in on LB in some sort of advisory/muse type role, like that behind the scenes guy Belichick has. Let him sit behind the bench if he wants, he can still contribute to a defensive scheme in some capacity at 79
