Over the last couple of years, I think what we've found is that Brett Brown is not a good in-game coach. I'm not sure what he does offensively or defensively to make me feel any level of confidence in him. I guess there's something to be said for the steadiness and culture building that happened, but he's just an average to slightly below average coach overall. That won't cut it when you're trying to win a title. I feel more comfortable moving on than ever before

Yep. He’s no longer part of the solution so he’s part of the problem.

I don't trust Brand to hire a coach.

Brett Brown stinks and yet we almost beat Toronto who last year had a superstar, a great team and an incredible coach.

Why we didn’t run it back with a new head coach will be considered an all-time managerial blunder. Possibly as bad if not worse than the decision to trade up for Fultz.

This franchise was given a gift and it completely fucked it all up.

He’s a player development coach that hasn’t really developed any players. He’s a salesman and a great PR guy. He can babysit a bad team but he will never win anything and should never, ever coach a good team again

The biggest problem with this team and its performance against smart teams is I don’t feel like having Simmons in there would make more than a modicum of difference.

Roster is fine imo. They got guys that can hit 3s and 2 stud players. Brett just puts no one in a position to succeed seemingly.
