This really pissed me off. He should’ve been the guy inserted into the starting lineup.
On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?

He bashed the org a bit on the way out right? Or maybe that was his dad... but throw that Jimmy stuff in there, and the team generally looking quitterish in this series, and that spells the end for BB.

Makes sense, Barstool's (new) parent company is based in Wyomissing

What’s the complaint about Portnoy?

The crazy thing is Ben doesn't really help down the stretch which is a big part of the problems they have had. That's why Butler was so important.

You have Embiid and Ben who are not good late at games.

Shoulda kept

Missed Friday night’s game... thank god... catching up on this thread and this is the whole meat and potatoes for me. What they obviously did not have in the first Celtics series, despite the many things they did have, was someone who could take the ball and score it or die trying (I.e. get fouled) when nothing else was working. They SHOULD have it in Simmons, but I dunno, there’s something wrong with the guy in his head.

Last year they had Butler for half a season and they came within a whisker of beating the eventual NBA champs. They let him walk and re-signed obviously not as useful Tobias Harris for... reasons?

Now they have Tobias Harris who has regressed significantly from the mediocre that he was here last season, no other players even resembling pure shooters, and to boot the still stuck inside his own head Simmons is out besides. And Embiid is good of course but not good enough to carry the team or take the game over in crunch time.

But at least they’ve used all their cap space on an aging PF playing out of position!

I am with JFLY: it was absolutely fucking criminal that they let Butler walk. Criminal. The whole FO should not only be fired but incarcerated.
