We had a competitive 7 games against the eventual champs last year and we totally remade the team.

Strongly disagree. As of now it's a capped out team with several large albatross contracts. I think it's a fairly desirable coaching job, but I don't think it's a particularly attractive GM job. There's a lot of work to do and also it's not like you have a ton of paths to choose from, you can't really go into any sort of rebuild.

The dude is being overly dramatic. This teams got talent, plenty of it, no need to rebuild. Harris and horford overpaid? Yeah, but they can still be very effective. No need to move them.

He’s being dramatic to get eyeballs and to make a point, but he’s not wrong.

We may be capped out but we have all of our picks and a pick in this years draft. It feels worse than it is. That said, it could get worse quickly if you have a guy like Brand mortgaging the near future to remedy his horrendous decisions from last summer.
