the Phillies are definitely a team that needs other teams to have a wave of COVID19 in order to make the playoffs

Outside of really good teams how many teams have more than 2 pitchers you can trust? I think we will be in it until the end for that 8th playoff spot lol.

Greater variability with only 60 games. A winning streak can carry a team to the playoffs. One hot streak can make a season and one slump can destroy it.

Starters are fine especially if you believe in Howard I am much more worried about the bullpen. Hector is the closest thing to a reliable option and he got demoted 2 years ago.
Two days later I get a text back that says I'm a basketball player and a businessman, not a Thundercat.

@TheCUTCH22
417 days. It’s been 417 days since I played a Major League Baseball game. The longest I have ever gone since I picked up a bat at the age of 5. I’ve cried,laughed,worked,and grown throughout this process that at times,seemed endless. I’ve missed this game so much. Now, I’m ready

Just saw him mentioned in an article on the athletic. Apparently he’s been a starter his whole career and they are converting him to relief and they sent him to driveline over the winter to work on mechanics. Sounds like he could be an interesting name to watch.

Off to a bad start

DanBakerPhils
Sorry, @Phillies fans, for the unfortunate timing, but due to a necessary surgery today, after announcing 48 straight home openers, I will miss tonight’s game. Hopefully this procedure will allow me to return to Citizens Bank Park quickly. GO PHILLIES!
