No off day after opening day? Ugh. I don’t know if I can watch this shit again.
Fine. You wanna act like you're two? I'll act like I'm one.

Decided I'm over John Kruk. I think he may actually drag tmac down.

There's probably a ~50% chance the Phillies are in 1st place by themselves for at least a point in time tomorrow

Girardi said Vince is making his next start

Though I guess he can’t say they’re calling up Howard without blatantly saying he staying down for service time reasons.

Goose no longer tied for the decade lead in HRs since Nelson Cruz hit #3 today

That and I guess giving the Blue Jays as little advance notice as possible.

Way to early to be thinking about this but if they fall out of contention it's time to shake things up both in the front office and roster.

I was hoping he left out "on the moon."

True story: I flipped on the Yankees/Phillies exhibition last week that Vince started and was legitimately surprised to see him there and was immediately irritated.

And today we got Pivetta too. FFS

I’d be pretty surprised if Klentak was the GM For next offseason if they don’t make the expanded playoffs. Even if they have injury/covid issues. He’s had long enough.

After one series I firmly believe the season should be canceled.

Next weekend's series against the Jays is now here, with the Buffalo trip happening in late September instead

If the Phillies were folded, CBP burned to the ground, and the ground where it stood salted, VV and Pivetta would somehow still be starting for them.

With more than half the teams making the playoffs I do agree Klentak is probably gone if they don't make it.

Yeah. He seemed to hedge a bit. Like he doesn't make the call if Howard comes up and right now he isn't on the team. So VV it is.

So the team that the Phillies played baseball against all weekend in Philadelphia having a fairly sizeable covid outbreak seems notable...
