60 Games To Leave Your Bubble: Phillies Thread

Sort of confused who the 30 guys are that made the team over Harrison unless they're keeping a 3rd catcher or 17 pitchers or something wild.
Two days later I get a text back that says I'm a basketball player and a businessman, not a Thundercat.

We're Phillies phans; eventually we'll have to make a new plan, Stan.

seems like he would have made the team. i'd guess his agent found somewhere that might use him a little more.

Think you are right. And while I'm sure it happens quite a bit....I'm pretty sure that talking to an agent about a player under contract somewhere else is tampering. But I really couldn't care less about losing Josh Harrison either.

It’ll be $40 to have a cardboard cutout of you at a Phillies game ($25 for season ticket holders) proceeds go to Phillies charities.

Josh did everything, EVERYTHING, right. He was the one who requested his release.

I think he’s made the right call. Sadly, after Neil Walker was informed he would make the roster, things were looking grim.

I love Josh, and I love

. Wishing the best for these guys.

I have been so out of touch. Who is this Josh Harrison and why wasn't he given a job? I like him already.

Harrison was batting .1something with no power, and Gosselin is batting .3something with no power but is from the area. Duh.
Fine. You wanna act like you're two? I'll act like I'm one.

Is Segura the 3B with Kingery at 2B or vice versa?

Segura’s the new Polanco but with a thick midsection instead of a giant head.

We’ll be world champs in four years.

So they make the cutout and put your name on it? That's not as fun as what I was picturing. I was hoping you could make your own cutouts, but now that I think about it, could be difficult logistically.

I believe the Mets are doing that. If MLB had any marketing sense at all they'd let you send a picture and print the cutout and do all sorts of fun things to engage fans. But they don't.
