Once we give them the tour of Hazleton they won't be able to refuse.

just tell cole and strasburg to google: "bryan price" + "best pitching coach" ... optionally ... "rafael chavez" plus "best pitching coach"
in googling the former, i found not only the old espn piece i linked in my earlier post and lots of praise of price (as a coach, not as a manager) from reds fans, but also a quote from king felix about about fellow candidate for the phillies pc job chavez, who worked together with price developing the king in their mariners days. chavez is the phillies current minor league pitching coordinator, and has been so long enough to have presided over the surprisingly succeesful developments of initially under-the-radar prospects such as sixto s., seranthony d, h. neris, eflin, ranger s., and s.howard, bad news is that his brief tenure as a mlb pitching coach wasn't successful.

Great to watch Anthony Rendon play like a superstar and act like a superstar.

tried very hard to find ticket stubs. was able to sneak in during the delay via mcfaddens. game got cancelled like ten minutes later but just could not find any on the ground.

I hope you get banned from all MLB stadiums for your poor behavior. Shame on you, CBalls.

If anyone was out of line last night it was Bregman.

No one was really out of line. Let the kids play.

I confess I have no idea what this is supposed to mean. Something about Jim Thome and Gerritt Cole or maybe Cole Hamels. Who is sending the texts? I haven't the foggiest.

@matt_breen
The Phillies have identified Bryan Price as the frontrunner to be Joe Girardi's pitching coach, a source said. Price was a successful pitching coach for three organizations before managing the Reds. Phillies also need to find a hitting coach.
