i dont have donkey friends that i'd bring. my two poker buddies are pretty good, though one is a nit. the other guy is the guy you lucked out on heads up(do you win any other way? )

i don't know if i'll crush, i just know what beats what. i was explaining the rules to someone and she stated she knew already but was vehemently opposed to the idea that a 2 3 4 5 was the best hand you could hold

To make your best five card low hand, using any combination of the seven cards you are dealt. Aces are always low, and straights and flushes have no effect on the low value of a hand. The lowest possible hand is A2345.

I have a tough time with stud hi. i just never believe i have the best hand, and when i think i do the other guy shows something better. you won't see me play much there, i need to work on that a lot

i've had some wins lately in PL omaha. it's sick how many hands people play and what stuff they'll call raises with..so many people call with counterfeited hands and outs. i think my sharkscope would be a ton better if i didnt have 3 4th places at 50-5 SNGs, and a bunch of 4th and 5th at 30-3. anything 10 and below i rate pretty well, I just can't deal with losing 2 or 3 in a row at the higher amounts

i'm going to ask and see if one guy wants in, i can't promise anything

i need to buy harrington on holdem II, i hear it has a good section on heads up. i think i've improved a ton headsup live but i still find myself losing online more often than not when it gets down to it

i think that's his game though. he loses a lot on holdem and wins a lot on omaha. same with matusow?

also, i do think limit holdem is boring as hell, it's just too mechanical and it seems like everything's just 60/40 because you'll see so many showdowns

seriously-

You currently cant buy a better tournament book than that

Since Ive read it- my home tourney results 3 wins out of 6 and the lead in the TOC points.

I hope Eric never reads it

i pretty much know how he plays in those tourneys. loose and aggressive early, and then waits for tp/tk later to push hard. it seems tough for him to lay down a hand like ak

Matusow sucks at everything online

He is a tilting machine

Limit HE is weird- my first B&M experience was HE 2/4 limit. It was when I had no idea of what I was doing- I was up 120 and shouldve quit because I lost my wad within an hour

his style is almost the opposite of what Harrington preaches- I love it

what gets me is that he lets his stack get so small and gets lucky and seems to double and triple up more than he should, he waits too long for a hand to push

i could sort of understand the former if you think you can outplay people on flops, but we aren't playing for thousands where people will lay down an overpair to the board or whatnot. you're not going to outplay someone in these tourneys and get them to lay down the better hand.

wes has become more tight passive than loose passive- its made him even easier to read

Eric- doesnt lay down his hands against me more than anyone else- its like when I play my brother, its an ego thing that he can outplay me

Joe- Im glad he enjoys playing- I need to be better and compliment his poor plays more often

i have to say i think that the guy that kills me the most is your brother. i think guys that bluff a lot think that everyone else is trying to bluff them, and so they run you down to the river and catch and think to themselves 'see, i knew he was bluffing' when you fold to their obvious giddiness.

edit: I think the funniest thing about your brother is how obvious his betting patterns are...if he is trying to get you out he reraises with top pair or he puts a decent sized bet in there. if he hits HUGE, like last tourney i was at when i had k7 and he had 79 and the flop can 997, I bet in teh SB, he reraised the MINIMUM and I think for 10 seconds and fold and he blushes and shows the full house...well duh. that's the only time i've ever seen you min raise there duane

I dont understand my brother- he is very good at math, has an analytical mind, etc etc- but he seems to completely disregard it and throw it out the window when he plays.
