He had one in the 2012 playoff series vs the Pens, Giroux also had one in the same game.

Couturier had his hat trick but Hart stole that game. He is the real deal. Just shows how well this team can play with competent goal tending. He's going to have his ups and downs but the Flyers look to finally have a guy who will be a legitimate ace in the net.

And with how good he has been he is still 5-5-1.

PP and PK always seem to determine the fate of this team. For the longest time they were top 5 in PP for years it seemed like, this year they are 30th. I think they were around 22% a few years ago, down to 13.5% this year.

It was hard to believe last night. They played a man down against the Bruins for a large part of the last 23 minutes of the game either by penalty or the goalie being pulled and gave up only one goal. Pretty impressive. Rick Wilson has the defense looking a lot better. The young guys like Sanheim, Provorov and Hagg are going to have their brain cramps but they have looked better since Wilson took over. Even Ghost made some sharp defensive plays with his stick and positioning last night. Gudas has stepped up and become the leader on the back end. As for AMac.....you can't make chicken salad out of chicken ****. Time for him to go to LV for the rest of his career and bring up Myers. Myers can't play worse.

I think it is important to point out that most of the Flyers poor special teams rankings are the result of a horrendous October and November. Since Dec 1, the Flyers are killing penalties at an 82% clip; good for 14th (17th overall since Gordon took over). You'd have to parse a bit more with PP success, but over the past month, the boys' PP% ranks 21st. Again, not great, but there has been improvement in both areas as the season has gone on and particularly since the coaching change.

I will disagree just a bit with rolex in that Provorov has looked putrid nearly the entire season. He seems to take as much as he gives. Last night is a great example. He had two assists but turned the puck over multiple times, including one that led to an odd-man rush that Hart bailed them out of. I still think he is going to be a star but he needs to calm down and just play his game. It appears he is in his head at times.

It could be that with Provorov that expectations for him by all parties got ahead of reality. He does need to slow things down and so does everyone else regarding his play
