The sooner they trade Giroux the better. Hopefully Simmonds has some value too. Gudas comes to mind. Can't imagine Voracek has much value, might as well hold on to him if he doesn't. Full teardown time.

I think you get more value at the trade deadline assuming it's a sellers market.

Gudas is a keeper and should get an extension. He's a good veteran RHD which is what the club claims that it needs. He started the season paired with Sanheim and did a great job of balancing his play against Sanheim's game. They were the best pairing for the first twenty or so games of the season. Then it was decided to break up the defensive pairings and put Sanheim with Provorov in order to get him away from the erratic and ineffective Gostisbehere. That left Gudas with Ghost. Its been hard for Radko to work with Ghost since #53 is so weak defensively and has a penchant for getting too involved in the offense leaving his partner hanging but Gudas has done a decent job in attempting to make the pairing work.
Actually, all things considered, since taking over, Wilson has done a good job in settling down the defensive end of the ice. Provorov, Sanheim, Gudas and Hagg have played better. Even Folin has not been a liability too often. AMac and Ghost are the issues.

flyers haven't scored on a 3-on-1, 2-on-1 and a 2-on-0 in the last few minutes. still up 2-0 which i don't mind since hart is playing well.
