I agree with Jones. You can just see it in Jake's body language when he is out there. I saw his lack of effort live on Saturday afternoon. Had a Flames player lined up for a check and let him skate right by him. I would definitely be see what kind of market there is for our "big" four vets.

And for all the Weiss hating, while he may not be the most talented guy on the ice, he is almost always the one putting out the most effort. Provorov has been awful this year. I think he is talented and is going to be a mainstay for a long time but he needs to figure some shit out, quickly. In general, we have a very talented group of D-men but they are young; in fact, the fourth youngest group in the league. I think the state of the team was summed up by Konecny taking the puck behind the net to let the last seven or so seconds tick off last night.

Those two are very professional and positive all the time. For them to completely obliterate the team says a lot imo

I agree with Jackson that they should call up Aubé-Kubel. I'd also call up Myers. Probably can't trade Simmonds until closer to the trade deadline. Really nothing much else you can do until the offseason.

JJ and Jonesy are great. Speaking the truth. And agreed, they are usually over the top positive on the air but there's only so much you can take. This team had expectations to at the very least be very competitive, and at best get deep into the playoffs this year, and they're now playing for the #1 pick.

Did they say anything about the captain not scoring a hat trick every night. Lets be honest guys, that's the real issues here.
