Embiid said he didn't think it's true, but if I had to guess I'd say behind the scenes he's not happy about Collars not being out the door.

And the only reason Embiid said that is because of the tweets he posted before Colangelo called him.

If this was a wrestling storyline, they’d fire Colangelo, announce a big mystery hire reveal which turns out to be Hinkie, then 6 months down the line it’d come out that Hinkie was the source & manipulated the info, setting up Hinkie vs Colangelo at WrestleMania w/ Embiid the ref

My new 3pm slant:

What if Mattia set-up the Eric Jr account for grandpa Jerry and he was the 3 that went private. Jerry could not remember his password so he had no way to turn Eric Jr to private before it was too late.
