I know he'll be here next year and wearing the A and play like 70 games. I just wanted to type it out to make myself feel better.

Kinda crazy to think that they away team won 5 of the 6 games in the Flyers-Pens series.

I don't know if the Flyers are going to buy out Lehtera, they might just Matt Read him next year (actually scratch that, if he's here, he's playing). I'm all for going all out for Tavares - it would cure so many problems of our offensive depth.

We do need another confirmed top 4 D-man, but I almost would rather roll the dice on waiting to see how the Karlsson situation shakes out. I assume he'll get moved this offseason instead of waiting to make it to the open market next year.

The next off season for the local 4 is when John Tavares becomes a Flyer, LeBron James becomes a Sixer, Bryce Harper becomes a Phillie and another Super Bowl trophy belongs to the Eagles... take that in

Officially now the worst organization in the city. And sure it could be worse, a lot worse. But it's always an ol 'boys club and it shows sometimes.

I hit that point in November. It was a painfully boring and awful product to watch. It was no longer must-see TV for me. Picked back up a bit during the nice stretch they had, but I can't imagine people are thrilled to watch Matt Read, Jori Lehtera, Andrew MacDonald, Brandon Manning, Dale Weise, and Val Filppula. And two middling goaltenders.

Except they were exciting at times. Elliot had stretches of looking really good, Giroux re-surged, Coots broke out, the rookies were exciting once they developed and got some ice time. It was the perfect encapsulation of this year - stretches of utter garbage and glimmers of hope: the 2017-18 Philadelphia Flyers.

I like what the Phillies are doing but this may be a little premature.
