Why do they keep having an east coast team play their season opener out west? The game starts at 10 pm here. It makes no sense to me.

The game is going to start at 10:30pm, you know they are going to have 30 mins of some corny stupid pre game stuff.

I like getting west coast trips out of the way early in the season for the team. Also people are more likely to tune into a 10pm home opener game compared to a 10pm game on a wednesday night in the middle of the season.

Honestly don't know much about hockey prospects but the final NHL.com mock has the Flyers taking LW Joel Farabee (6'0" 160, Boston University commit) or RW Serron Noel (6'5" 205, OHL Oshawa) at #14, then at #19 they have Miller, D Mattias Samuelsson (6'4" 220, son of ol friend Kjell, Western Michigan commit) or D Bode Wilde (6'2" 200, decommitted from Michigan to jump to OHL Saginaw or NHL)

Definitely fits the late-riser theme that Hextall seems to like. As I said last page, I’d be happy with him.

No change to the Linc game date, which was reported to be Feb. 23 vs. the Pens. Confirmed. Black Friday vs. the Rangers on NBC.

Done with Vegas-Colorado-Anaheim-LA-SJ-PHX road games by November 5, so a lot of travel early on. It's sort of balanced by 9 H/4 A in February

Noel is one I absolutely do not want. From BSH

The first thing that stands out for me with Noel is the aforementioned 105 shots. That ranks him 43rd among OHL right wingers. While it’s not the end of the world he doesn’t shoot the puck all that much, it’s essentially the last thing the Flyers need. Also, I’m not sure how good his shot really is, considering how little he uses it, and how most of his goals are not dependent on the quality of his shot.

Noel doesn’t possess the greatest puck skills either. They’re not terrible, but as Pronman stated in his review of Noel, they’re “inconsistent”, the same can be said for his playmaking. These two would be the biggest of issues if he was more of a sniper ala Oliver Wahlstrom, but he’s not.
